HAPPY 2007 ! :D
another year. another tragic tale ):
hah. just kidding :D

} yesterday
waited 12 hours for him but it turned to nought. anyway, went to church to celebrate the new year. i found it quite dull at first , probably due to my stucked nose. everybody was jumping to the music and i jumped! and it dripped, and i decided to stop :] the pastor asked us to fast and to stay away from what we desire but i don t think i can do that? like for eg: i just ate porridge and now i am on the computer. i am not so strictly christian. i just go to church to be with God. nevermind, everything sounds so complicated for my first post of 2007.

i dunno if it is me but fredrick kept looking at my way , maybe he is disgusted at me blowing my nose all the time. haha. gidian kept asking the whole world if i looked singaporean. so qian bian >:{ he told me to stop bluffing him and tell the truth, whether am i a korean or a japanese. bleurgggh. even jian cong say i don t look singaporean. then kelvin started telling lame jokes again. he said his hair is worth more than ours because when he pawns it , he get moneys. ( he dyed his hair gold). so funny.went to marine parade later for lunch. deborah and i ate fish and co. we sat there for quite long actually . i realised that the more i want to see goat, the more i won t get it to see him. Before i saw him at the arcade the previous day, i was telling myself i would die if i see him because i wasn t wearing any pretty clothes and unfortunately, i saw him. so much for telling myself to be mature. after lunch, walked around and soon school'e' said she was fetching us soon.

went to Su Fen's house for family gathering. soon, the party started. we had dinner first before we started hanging around and took some photos among ourselves. last pictures for dec 31 2006.

later brought the small cousins to the playground. went to play with the swings for a while and got bored quickly after that. we suggested to sufen to change to another playground . the way there was quite funny. we wanted to take the shortcut route but there was this bangala standing there, eyeing on us . we were quite scared actually because we were all girls except for ryan who is only 12 years old? so we just take the risk, after walking past him, i saw him turned around and headed towards us. i think we ran like crazy lor.

okay. this is the funny part.

sufen , deborah and i were just sitting on this kiddy rides talking. huaywen was sitting on this spinning thing which was just a few feets away from us . Something told me to look at her. She was spinning averagely and next thing i know she was going faster and faster . it was so fast and in my mind i was telling myself that huay wen really got the guts lor. i think at that moment deborah and sufen looked too. suddenly huay wen started screaming for help, and it happened so fast , she flew off the the spinning bowl and landed on her side. it was quite scary because she laid still for a while . it gave me such a bad scare. i thought she fainted or something. thank goodness it wasn t a concrete floor but a playmate. deborah , sufen and i started running towards her, calling out her name . when she opened my eyes, i coudln t stop laughing . i mean the way she fly was seriously comical. huay wen said it was like taking drugs and she didn t even know she flew. she said her paradise ended when she opened her eyes and her head throb. man. huay wen ah. huay wen. deborah told her to bite her thumb and rubbed her stomach to prevent her from vomiting but huay wen still can say her thumb is dirty. LOOOOL. and when deborah finally force her to do it , she looked like a giant baby. i really coudln t stop LOLing. huay wen wanted to kick me back then. >:]

after that when huay wen was better, we played some childhood games like lao yin chua xiao ji? then we decided to ask 2 china girls to join us. i think one was around huay wen age (12) and another around huay yi age. (9) after that the 2 china girls asked us to play blind mice? like niether the catcher nor the players can touch the ground , we can only play on the playground it self. i volunteered myself to be the catcher :]

the oldest one, 12, call her ah pui okays :D . she is so so so strict in this blind mice rules. when i was trying to hide away from one of her sister, i tried to hold on tightly to the ropes but bth already, my butt touched the floor and in such a stupid haughty voice,

"wo kan dao ren jia de pi ku dong ti xia horrrrr. "

sufen was with me at that time. i dunno if she saw me rolling my eyes .

later sufen and i planned to catch the darn ah pui lor. From my hiding place, i whispered to sufen, who was the catcher, to go left left left. in the end, ah pui got caught :D later she caught huay yi and i told her i would take huay yi 's place instead and she was arguing with me why can t huay yi play. Deborah told ah pui she was only primary 3 and ah pui said,

wo ye shi primary 3 ah!

i think it is because of her english, she is primary 3 and not 6.

i think in the end i was quite irritated with the blind mice game. so we sat down and talked.

jy : wo men wan plain catching la.

ahpui: plain catching?

jy : errrr...

deborah: bu dong catching.

jy: yeah :D

ahpui: hao ba - turns to me - ni de hua wen hen jiang leh.

jy : TMD! - thinking in my head-

wah lau. does she know who she is talking to? i am 4 years OLDER than her, not younger than her. before we left ,

jy : oi.

ah pui: se mou?

jy: wo de yin wen ye shi hen jiang leh.

ah pui: ... hehs.

jy: bye!

ah pui: bye!

jy: eh, ni dong "bye" se mou yi shi mah?

ah pui: ...

look. i am not looking down on people from china. i have friends who come from china. i am just pushing her down because of the attitude she gave to us. nothing else.

went to sufen house and drank a mouthful of mild beer and waited for the countdown while playing billionaire. everytime we go to sufen's house , we are always playing billonaire. i can never grow old of it :D i remember playing it for the first time at yi lin's house when it was mama's funeral. we all wanted this game to ourselves and kept asking sufen where she got it from , but she didn t know either and the only answer we got from her was it was a present that the neighbour gave to her.

5 minutes before 1 jan 2007, school 'e' called us down and scooped us some ice cream while the adults have beer. i asked for one cup, i was afraid i wouldn t like it so i made my brother drank half and surprisingly i love it :D i asked for one more cup but before i could drink everything down, my mother caught me ): and took away my last mouthful . everybody count down to it and cheers. :]

the adults played one more game of mahjong before heading home.
